Fates Supports/Shigure Rhajat(SS)
Rhajat: *sigh* Where did Shigure run off to? That fool... He sure is hard to keep track of. I don't know why he'd be roaming around these hills and fields. But I couldn't find him anywhere at camp so I'm not sure where else to look.
Rhajat: Wait. There he is! Why is he just sitting out there on that tree stump? And why are all those people gathered around him...? Wait, those aren't people... Those are forest animals! Squirrels, rabbits...even bears! They're all sitting calmly around him, like it's the most natural thing in the world...
Shigure: I think that's enough for one day. How did you like it?
Rhajat: Is he...trying to have a conversation with all those creatures?
Shigure: Ah! Who's there?! Oh no! Come back!
Rhajat: They all ran away... I guess I scared them off.
Shigure: They were just startled, Rhajat. Frankly, I was too! But don't worry about it. They can't help being a little shy. So tell me, what are you doing all the way out here?
Rhajat: I was looking for you, actually. Even though we're siblings, you and I were raised in different lands, right? You're the only brother I have, and I would like to know you better.
Shigure: Oh, I see. I don't know what to say. I'm really not the most interesting person around... You might have more fun talking with someone more outgoing.
Rhajat: You're missing the point. We're siblings. I need to spend time with you...
Shigure: Please, don't feel obligated to try and be my friend, just because of that. Honestly, I'm not in the most social mood right now. Please, excuse me...
Rhajat: Hey, hold on a minute! Gods, what was that all about?
Rhajat: Shigure hasn't been around again today. I wonder if he wandered back to that clearing in the mountains... He's probably sitting there surrounded by all those animals. Heehee. Looks like I was right. There he is!
Shigure: Rhajat?! What are you doing out here? Ah! Oh no! Wait!
Rhajat: Ahh, I scared them off again. My sneaking skills aren't as good as I thought. Sorry about that...
Shigure: Don't worry about it. They aren't used to other people being around here. It's easy to startle them.
Rhajat: I see... How did you learn to tame those wild animals? I've never seen anything like it. We may have the same parents, but I didn't inherit that skill.
Shigure: Why were you looking for me again? Did you need something?
Rhajat: Yes, I've been thinking. It feels unnatural to know so little about my own sibling. We must spend time together.
Shigure: OK, OK. Listen, I'm sorry for being cold the other day. The truth is, it makes me happy that you care so much. I'm your brother, and I really don't want to let you down.
Rhajat: So you don't mind if I stay by your side? Is there any chance you can call back those animals from before?
Shigure: Honestly, I don't think they would be comfortable around you.
Rhajat: Why not? They seem so attached to you. If I work really hard, maybe I could tame them as well. Is there any easy way to do that?
Shigure: Hmm... I'm not sure if this will help, but... Animals are highly attuned to the feelings of people around them. Most likely, they detected something in you that drove them off.
Rhajat: But I don't have any animosity toward a bunch of fluffy creatures.
Shigure: They can sense what you were thinking. Were you sizing them up to figure out which one might make a tasty dinner? Even just for a moment?
Rhajat: Shigure, do you want to be cursed? I would never think that.
Shigure: Of course, I'm sorry. That's just the biggest reason I could think of for them to run away. I appreciate how sincere you are about befriending them. I'll try to think of what can be done to make them feel safe around you. I would be delighted to help out my sweet sister.
Rhajat: I'm counting on you...
Rhajat: Hello, Shigure...
Shigure: What's wrong, Rhajat? You look troubled.
Rhajat: I've been wanting to talk about the animals with you...
Shigure: Oh? Did you want to pay them a visit? I was just about to head in that direction if you want to come along. Are you ready to prove that you don't mean them any harm?
Rhajat: I've been thinking about that. When I first saw them, I think I was feeling rather angry...
Shigure: What do you mean?
Rhajat: It's embarrassing, but I was jealous of those stupid animals... To see you open your heart to them but not your own sister injured me. It felt unfair, and in the moment, I just wanted them all to vanish. That's why they thought I was their enemy. I'm ashamed of myself.
Shigure: Rhajat, I'm glad you thought about this and talked to me.
Rhajat: I can't ever go back out there. I feel pathetic enough as it is.
Shigure: Don't say that! You should absolutely go back. By opening up, you've changed, and the animals will be able to tell. I think they'll be more welcoming.
Rhajat: I'm not sure...
Shigure: Well, I am. You didn't have to say that you were feeling jealous. But you did anyway. That tells me that you've got a good soul. They'll be able to see that, too. Look! There's a rabbit coming this way!
Rhajat: Ahh! What am I supposed to do?
Shigure: Just calm down... Relax, and take a breath. Quiet your mind and be peaceful... Just think about how you want to be friends with the furry critter.
Rhajat: A-all right, I'll try! Shigure, look! He's letting me pet him! Wow, he's not running away or anything. This is amazing!
Shigure: See? I told you it would all be fine.
Rhajat: I guess you were right!
Shigure: Now you can meet all of the other animals! I think you will get along with everyone. Let's wander to the clearing in the woods— I bet your new friends will be waiting there.
Rhajat: It's gonna be so much fun spending time with you, Shigure.
