Nyx: Ah, Kana. What is it?
Kana(F): Look! I picked some pretty flowers for you! They're yellow like the sun!
Nyx: Oh, is that so? Hmm... These are very beautiful.
Kana(F): Do you like them?
Nyx: I do. Very much. But what's gotten into you lately? You seem to be bringing me an awful lot of flowers these days...
Kana(F): I just remember that when I was real little, we'd go looking at flowers together. You always smiled so much. And I love your smile, Mama! So I decided to start bringing you lots and lots of flowers to help you smile!
Nyx: Oh my, that's very observant of you. And very sweet, as well. But...I do have a favor to ask of you.
Kana(F): Anything, Mama. What do you need?
Nyx: Remember how I told you that flowers are living things too? Well, when you pick them, it hurts them, and they begin to wither away and die. And one should never take a life unnecessarily.
Kana(F): Oh no! I've been hurting them?! It was an accident! I'm sorry, flowers! I've been such a big meanie...
Nyx: Don't worry, Kana. It's all right. You just need to promise not to pick any more flowers, OK?
Kana(F): OK! B-but...if I do that, how can I show you the neat flowers I find?
Nyx: Hmmm... Next time you find some, come and find me. Then we'll go see them together. How does that sound?
Kana(F): Really? You won't be too busy?
Nyx: Not at all. I enjoy our little excursions together.

Nyx: Oh, these are very interesting. What a strange shade of purple. It seems to change depending on the angle at which you look at it.
Kana(F): I know—I love this color. And the petals are so beautiful. They reminded me of you, Mama.

Kana(F): Really? Yay!
Nyx: That reminds me: I have something to show you.
Kana(F): Oooh, is it something good? Can I see it right now? What is it?
Nyx: It's not here right now, but——
Kana(F): Ah! Wait! Don't tell me! I don't want to spoil the surprise.

Nyx: Hi, Kana! Come on over. This is what I wanted to show you.
Kana(F): Oh wow! This is such a big book! And look at all these flowers! Where did you get them?
Nyx: These are all of the flowers you've been bringing me! I dried them out and pressed them between the pages to preserve them. I thought that a book like this would be the perfect way to store all your little gifts.
Kana(F): This is amazing! Really, really amazing! I hadn't realized how many flowers I'd brought you, either. Look, there are the yellow daisies I gave you the other day! Mama, thank you for taking such good care of them. This makes me so happy!
Nyx: No, thank you for all of the flowers. You've no idea how much of a comfort they've been to me.
Kana(F): You're welcome!
Nyx: You know, we didn't pick those flowers we saw the other day... But we did make some nice memories when we went to go look at them. I want us to have many, many more memories like them. How about you?
