Ophelia: Mother! My situation is terribly dire!
Effie: What happened, Ophelia? Did someone hurt you?
Ophelia: There is a greedy beast stirring within me... It demands a hearty offering.
Effie: Oh, I understand. You're hungry! Why didn't you say so?
Ophelia: You know me so well, Mother.
Effie: Well of course I do! I am a chosen one after all.
Ophelia: Y-you are?! Somehow, I always suspected. I have to admit, I'm little bit jealous. I wish I were a chosen one too! Then we could battle side by side!
Effie: Heehee, I'm sure we'd make an excellent team.
Ophelia: First we'd better quiet this grumbling in my belly.
Effie: Good idea. I'm as hungry as a horse! How about I whip us up some lunch?
Ophelia: Let me help! What should I do first?
Effie: Go and grab us some plates, honey.
Ophelia: No problem! I'll be right back. AHHH!
Ophelia: Mother! Oh dear! My shattered-plate fortune-telling reveals...
Effie: You should really apologize after you break something, Ophelia.
Ophelia: Oh, all right. I'm sorry.

Ophelia: *sigh*
Effie: Ophelia, what's on your mind, honey?
Ophelia: Chosen ones really do see everything, don't they?
Effie: Would you like to talk? Maybe I could give you some advice.
Ophelia: I was wondering something. Can I really become a chosen one?
Effie: Honey, why would you doubt yourself?
Ophelia: Well, it's just that I'm not strong like you and Father.
Effie: Ophelia, come now. Stop fretting. I know you can become a chosen one too.
Ophelia: You make everything seem so simple.
Effie: You know I wasn't always this way, right?
Ophelia: Huh? What do you mean?
Effie: Becoming a chosen one gave me strength.
Ophelia: Wow! Really?
Effie: Tell me something. Do you know who chose me?
Ophelia: Hmm, fate? Or the Gods perhaps?
Effie: Good guess. No, you chose me, Ophelia.
Ophelia: What do you mean?
Effie: Your birth made me stronger than I ever thought possible. I knew that I had to protect you, no matter what. You're my heart.
Ophelia: Oh, Mother.
Effie: So quit worrying, honey. One day you will become a chosen one.
Ophelia: Aww, thank you.

Ophelia: Good morning, Mother!
Effie: Ophelia! Why are you so cheery today?
Ophelia: Because of you! You pulled me free when I had sunk into a tide pool of despair.
Effie: Well I'm happy to hear that you aren't feeling blue anymore!
Ophelia: Now that I have moved past that darkness, I need you to show me everything. Battlefield strategy, culinary techniques... Whatever wisdom you can spare.
Effie: What's gotten you so motivated all of a sudden?
Ophelia: Generations to come should benefit from your wisdom. I need your help, Mother. I must become stronger. With your guidance, I can develop the tenacity to back up my words.
Effie: You make a good point.
Ophelia: Please! I'll soak up your knowledge like a sponge.
Effie: OK, honey! I'll impart as much knowledge as I can. My tastiest recipes... How to hurl a boulder with one hand... Everything important!
Ophelia: Thank you, Mother! Why don't we begin with some chores?
Effie: That pile of dirty dishes looks like as good a starting place as any.
Ophelia: This pile here? Don't worry, Mother, I'll have these clea— AHHH!
Ophelia: Umm, Mother? I broke the dishes. Again. I'm sorry.
Effie: Well, at least you learned to apologize honestly.
Ophelia: A chosen one would never try to hide from their mistakes, right?
Effie: Ha! You're a very good girl, Ophelia.
