Avatar: *sigh* That's the last of my junk. I had so much. Old clothes, busted swords, my childhood stuffed bear... Fly thee now to thy eternal rest, Mr. Pookie. You were too good for this world. So many fond memories...but it's time I moved on. Thank you for your service, my friends.
Velouria: Don't worry, dears. I'll give you a good home.
Avatar: Velouria?! What are you doing with my things?
Velouria: As I said, I'm giving them a new home. One lady's trash is another's treasure.
Avatar: But...what do you plan on doing with it all?
Velouria: What else? Admire them, touch them, sniff them. I shall treasure them dearly. *sniff sniff* Ooh. This bear has a rather unique scent.
Avatar: C-cut it out. Quit sniffing my stuff.
Velouria: But it's not yours anymore, is it? *sniff sniff*
Avatar: G-gross! Velouria! Cut it out!
Velouria: This old blade is interesting. I can only imagine the adventures it's seen. Oh, what lovely treasures I've found today! Heehee.
(Velouria leaves)
Avatar: She...she took Mr. Pookie...

Avatar: Velouria? What are you doing under the table?
Velouria: *sniff sniff sniff*
Avatar: Sniffing out treasure?
Velouria: Hardly. *sniff sniff* Ah! Here it is. Someone dropped a half-eaten muffin. *chomp* *munch munch*
Avatar: Wait! Stop that!
Velouria: Oh. I apologize. I suppose it was rude of me not to offer you a bite.
Avatar: I don't want a bite! You're just not supposed to eat things off the floor!
Velouria: Why not? It's still fresh. *munch*
Avatar: Do you WANT to get sick?! Spit it out, right this second!
Velouria: *gulp*
Avatar: And of course, you swallow it.
Velouria: A lady never spits out food. Did you learn nothing as a child?
Avatar: I learned that a lady doesn't eat food that fell to the floor.
Velouria: *sniff* *sniff sniff*
Avatar: What now?
Velouria: You'll have to pardon me if I don't feel inclined to share. *sniff sniff* Now, if you'll excuse me.
Avatar: Hang on. I'm coming with you.
Velouria: Why?
Avatar: I'm worried you'll eat something that will make you sick.
Velouria: So you wish to monitor my actions like I'm some kind of prisoner?
Avatar: Well, when you put it like that...
Velouria: I do appreciate your concern, however. Thank you for your misguided compassion.
Avatar: Wellll, if you really want to thank me, will you stop eating things off the floor?
Velouria: No. Good day.
(Velouria leaves)
Avatar: That could have gone better...

Avatar: Hello, Velouria. On the hunt again?
Velouria: Hello, Avatar. I smell treasure nearby.
Avatar: More treasure? Oh boy.
Velouria: A-ha! There you are, my precious! Here, Avatar! Look, look!
Avatar: Oh, delightful. It's a hair ball.
Velouria: Not just any hair ball! It's made of the hairs of all kinds of beasts. Such a thing is rare beyond measure. You would know this, had you any taste.
Avatar: I guess it IS sorta cute, if you squint enough.
Velouria: This is a good omen. Today will be a wonderful day. I'm sure of it. In fact, I feel so good about today, I think I should give you a present!
Avatar: Huh?
Velouria: Please accept this as a token of our friendship.
Avatar: But...it's your hair ball. I thought you wanted it for your own collection.
Velouria: It is truly a wonderful treasure. Perhaps the best I've found in weeks. All the more reason I believe it will make for a suitable present. Few people seem to care about me the way you do. I wish to show my appreciation.
Avatar: Oh, Velouria. Thank you.
Velouria: I hope you'll treat it with the love and care such a treasure deserves. Admire it, sniff it, touch it. You might even cuddle up with it at night. Just thinking about how much joy it will bring you is making me a bit jealous.
Avatar: I suppose it WOULD feel nice and soft next to my cheek at night. But I think you should keep it.
Velouria: I...see. Then you reject our friendship?
Avatar: No, no. It's not like that. It's just...I know how much this means to you. You understand its true worth, and so you should be the one who keeps it. As for our friendship, your feelings are more than enough for me.
Velouria: ...Very well. I shall keep it and tend to it as lovingly as I will our friendship. And maybe, given time, our friendship will become as hairy and soft as this ball.
Avatar: Er, yes. We can only hope. But I'm glad you feel that way, Velouria. I am so happy I met you.
