Units on the map can be inflicted with status conditions, which can be classified into boons (beneficial to the unit) and ailments (detrimental to the unit). Different status conditions stack. Ailments can be deconditioned by waiting out the appropriate number of turns, or by use of deconditioning items or staves.
Boons
Condition | Effect |
---|---|
Regenesis | Unit recovers 5 HP at the start of each turn (Lasts for 5 turns) |
All Stats Up | Unit's Strength, Magic, Dexterity, Agility, Defense and Resistance are increased by 3 (Effect decreases by 1 each turn) |
Defense Up | Unit's Defense is increased by 5 (Effect decreases by 1 each turn) |
Resistance Up | Unit's Resistance is increased by 5 (Effect decreases by 1 each turn) |
Mobility Up | Unit's Mobility is increased by 1 (Lasts for 10 turns) |
Ailments
Condition | Effect |
---|---|
Slumber | Unit cannot perform any actions such as moving, using weapons or items (Lasts for 3 turns) |
Silence | Unit cannot cast magic or use staves (Lasts for 3 turns) |
Paralysis | Unit cannot use weapons or items (Lasts for 3 turns) |
Daze | Unit cannot use weapons or items (Lasts for 1 turn) |
Berserk | Unit cannot tell friend from foe, acts first at the start of each Player Phase (Lasts for 3 turns) |
Poison | Unit takes 3 HP damage at the start of each turn (Lasts for 3 turns) |
