The player is given the choice whether to accept the request or not.

If the player chooses "no":

Iori: ... Hey, nobody's forcing ya. If you change your mind, let me know.

Conversation ends, request unaccepted.

If the player chooses "yes":

Iori: Cool, thanks... Let's talk later at that same spot. I need to calm down a bit.

Speak to Iori, who is now near the Shibuya Station.

Iori: Phew! Okay, I'm calm now. All right, let's get down to business. So... I fell in love again with another nonhuman.
