Welcome to the hidden page on how to play a Draft game in Cipher on LackeyCCG!
If you don't know how to play Cipher on Lackey, what are you even doing here
get off this page right now and go read [my lackey guide] instead.

If you are here to simulate opening five random booster packs because none of us have any money
and then using it as your deck in an online simulator to replicate a duel against someone else, you've come to the right place.

Getting Started

First of all, you'll need three things. LackeyCCG (which you should already have), my trusty [Google Spreadsheet]
which includes each Booster Pack Series of Cipher up to date today (Series 7 since 8th of December) in the tabs at the bottom of the page and everyone's best friend...
[...random.org]. Now before you have a Draft game with your opponent, I recommend both players either agreeing on the specific Booster Series they'll be opening (you both open the same one)
or both players open five packs from different series from each other (e.g, one person opens series 7 and the other person opens series 1).

Randomising your Packs

In order to create a simulation where you open five random packs, I recommend using random.org to decide the specific rarity of the last card of the pack will be.
This is because each pack (from Series 5 onwards) contains 6 Normal cards, 3 High Normal cards and then out of the four following options - being a Rare, Super Rare, Rare+ or Super Rare+.
A booster box of Cipher cards has 16 packs, and only four of them have Super Rares, while there is one extra pack containing a Rare+ or Super Rare+. This is emulated with the list I have made below. Using random.org's 'List Randomizer' which I have shown how to access it below (use the drop-down bar from 'Lists & More' and click List Randomizer -

Then using the Random Rarity list I provided on the Spreadsheet document, which is in cell G2 to G17 - highlight the whole list like shown below, then copy and paste it into the List Randomizer box under 'Part 1: Enter List Items' where it should look like the image to the right of the Random Rarity list.

Click the 'Randomize' button and it'll give a random list of the rarities we input into it. It should output into something shown below after a few seconds.
Remember that you only need five random packs. Using the example below, the packs you'll be rolling for will contain a Super Rare, Rare, Rare+ / Super Rare+, Rare and then a Super Rare.

Emulating your Pulls

Similar to how we emulated the rarity of the card at the end will be in a pack, I'll show you how to roll for Normals, High Normals, Rares, Super Rares and the R+/SR+, if you're lucky.
- Normals
For this example I'll use Series 7. You can apply this to Series 5 onwards, but you can use a similar method to a Series below five, because all of them are featured in the document as well.
Highlight cells A2 (Hector for Series 7) all the way down to A43 (Yuzu for Series 7) and then copy that list. Input it into List Randomizer on random.org, similar to how I showed you earlier.
For the list that comes out - if you're emulating Series 4 or below, emulate it with the top seven names, otherwise - use the top six names of the list of Normals that come out, and input those cards into a new deck on Lackey.
If you're not sure which specific character card is the Normal, High Normal, Rare or Super Rare for that specific card is, look it up through the Booster Pack pages off the front page of the Wiki.
Repeat the process four more times (there's a button titled 'Again!' that allows you to roll the same list) - this will emulate that you've opened five packs and these are the Normals from those five packs you'll be using in your deck.
- High Normals
Using the exact same process as before, highlight all the High Normals on the list and copy it over to List Randomizer on random.org.
For the following list, if you're emulating Series 4 or below, take the top two names, otherwise - use the top three names and input those cards into the current deck with the Normals already in it in Lackey.
Again if you are unsure, look up the Booster Pack page on the Wiki to identify a card's rarity.
Repeat this process four more times (with the 'Again!' button) - this emulates five packs worth of High Normals for your Draft deck.
- Rares
If you are rolling for a Rare for a pack, all you have to do is highlight all the rares and copy it over using the exact method as shown twice already.
There's no limitations for Rares for differences between packs, all you need is the top name of the list, and input that exact card into your Deck.
I'm gonna stop asking if you're unsure now, so you'd better be right :U
Repeat this process equal to the amount of times Rare popped up on the Randomized Rarity list you received (e.g if Rare popped up three times, repeat this two more times). This will emulate the Rare from the 'Rare pack' you received.
- Super Rares
Using the same method again, highlight all the Super Rares from the list and then use the same method (again).
Again, there's no limitations so just roll and then use the top name from the list again. Put that card into your Deck as well.
Repeat this process equal to the amount of times Super Rare popped up on the Randomized Rarity List you got (e.g if Super Rare popped up twice, just repeat this process once more).
- R+/SR+
Copy the entire R+/SR+ list and input it into the list randomizer. What comes out is what you place into the Deck on LackeyCCG.
There's only one possible R+ / SR+ so you shouldn't be repeating this one.

Now you're ready to fight someone else with your Draft Deck! By the end of this after following all the steps above, you should have exactly 50 cards in your deck -
If you followed a Series 4 or below set - You should have 35 Normals, 10 High Normals and 5 of the assorted Rares / Super Rares / R+ or SR+.
If you used a list from Series 5 or higher - You shoulve have 30 Normals, 15 High Normals and then 5 of the assorted Rares / Super Rares / R+ or SR+.
