Strategy
A single Dracoslayer sword has an advantage over or equality with every single enemy on the map, including the boss, so fielding a unit such as Marth or Chrom is your best option. A lance user can also handle the Myrmidons to the northwest. At least one of your units should be assigned to protect Rowan, so a good defender with healing magic is recommended as well.
Rowan will begin by advancing toward the Rogue Warrior to recruit him. As long as you have someone assigned to protect him, you can spend your time elsewhere and switch over once he gets ambushed by Fighters. Just make sure to re-assign your bodyguard to defending Rowan whenever you're done manually controlling them, else they'll wander off. Frederick won't just sit around letting you recruit the Rogue Forces, however; he'll eventually start making powerful enemies spawn from the southeast. Your Dracoslayer-sword equipped unit should focus on eliminating the supercharged threats and capturing the forts responsible.
Once Rowan recruits the Warrior, he'll move to recruit his sister as well, getting ambushed by Myrmidons on the way. A Fighter will also appear to hunt down your lead unit; if they're discovered, they'll summon reinforcements. Once Lianna is recruited, Rowan will try to return home, but two strong Swordmasters will appear to destroy him. Make sure to keep him safe, as your success hinges on his survival. Once Frederick opens his doors, a Great Knight Escort Soldier will appear around the middle of the map and move to rendezvous with him. The Escort Soldier will get stronger if they meet up, so take him out if you can before defeating Frederick.
