Current status - Chapter 2
Jagen:
I have no love for General Lang and his extremely rude attitude, but
we have a task we must complete. I am sure you have things on your
mind, but you must hold them in for now. Our foremost objective is
quell the rebellion in Macedon and rescue Princess Minerva. It pains
me, but we had no choice but to leave the young prince and princess
behind in Grust. However, should we successfully rescue Princess
Minerva, Prince Marth could be in a position to obtain custody of
them. Before that, we have to crush the dracoknights in Macedon's
rebel army and cross the forest.
Current status - Chapter 3
Jagen:
We made it through the bordering forest. At last, it is time to
quell the Macedonian rebellion and rescue Princess Minerva. But that
aside, I do wonder why Princess Nyna entrusted Prince Marth with the
Fire Emblem... The emblem is to be given to one who fights in the
name of justice; in the name of House Archanea. Hardin should have
delivered peace to Archanea... Appointing Lang as commander and now
this drama? Just what has happened to Hardin? Oh well. Prince Marth
said he'd go see the princess once this battle is over. Everything
will become clear once the time comes. But now, we must focus on
quelling the rebellion in Macedon.
Current status - Chapter 3x
Jagen:
Apparently, the assassins who made an attempt on Prince Marth's life
have appeared in the northern mountains. There are rumors that they
are targetting former comrades of ours, from the War of Shadows. The
prince has decided to pursue the enemy. Let us hurry the battle
preparations.
Current status - Chapter 4
Jagen:
We have quelled the rebellion in Macedon. However, Princess Minerva,
thought to be in the rebels' grasp, is elsewhere... If only we had
met the princess, we might have been able to avoid confronting Lang
like that... I myself have no regrets. The question is how he's
going to react. I just hope he won't do anything bad... According to
Lang, Sir Ogma took the prince and princess of Grust and is going to
meet Lord Wendell. We, too, came here to join Sir Ogma, but this is
pirate territory. We must proceed carefully.
Current status - Chapter 5
Jagen:
My greatest fear has been realized... Emperor Hardin of Archanea
planned to invade our kingdom from the very start. If we consider
the speed of this invasion, the Grustian expedition and the
rebellion in Macedon were no doubt traps. Make no mistake of
it
The Archanean army is now our enemy. We will be returning to
Altea. After going through the stronghold of Lang's occupation army,
that is... We cannot let Lang be, especially after he ensnared our
kingdom and tormented the people of Grust.
Current status - Chapter 6
Jagen:
Grust has been liberated. All that's left now is to seize Olbern
Keep. Therein lies Lang, oppressor of the people, the one who led
General Lorenz to death, and kidnapper of the Grustian children...
It's time for us to punish him for his sins. And then we shall
return to Altea, and reclaim our homeland from Archanea.
Current status - Chapter 6x
Jagen:
Apparently, a mercenary group is awaiting us at our destination.
However, we are the renowned and mighty Altean army. There is no
need for us to fear mere mercenaries. We'll crush the enemy and
return to Altea as soon as possible.
Current status - Chapter 7
Jagen:
By our hands, Grust has been liberated, and we are en route to our
homeland... But first, we stop by the Fane of Raman. I believe
you've already heard, but this was a request by Lord Wendell, who
was held captive by the Archanean army. It's said that if even one
of the five orbs were to be lost the world would fall into ruin, and
now the Starsphere has shattered into twelve pieces... Prince Marth
is going to help gather them. I just wish the Fane of Raman has what
we desire...
Current status - Chapter 8
Jagen:
Never mind the orbs; the Fane of Raman was devoid of anything. And
now, even though our homeland Altea stands before our eyes, the
Archanean army pursues us from both directions. It is a difficult
situation, but we must escape this crisis somehow.
Current status - Chapter 9
Jagen:
After hearing that our homeland Altea had been crushed by Archanea,
we rushed to its aid. However, we were stopped in our tracks by
Emperor Hardin of Archanea and now we must run away from Altea's
direction. This is just too much for these old bones to bear...
Hardin is protected by an arcane power... We won't be able to save
our homeland if we don't do something about him. Right now, we have
no choice but to take refuge in Khadein and search for a method to
defeat Hardin.
Current status - Chapter 10
Jagen:
Who would have thought that even Khadein would be our enemy? I'm
sure this revelation caused Prince Marth no small pain... What has
the world come to? Not only does Hardin attack us, but even Khadein,
our safest allies in this era. Sir Merric, a close friend of the
prince, is here in Khadein's sanctuary. I am sure the truth will
become clear once we're inside the building.
Current status - Chapter 10x
Jagen:
According to reports, Sir Horace, a knight who was once our comrade,
is in peril. Sir Horace is an Archanean knight, but he has sworn
loyalty to Princess Nyna, not to Emperor Hardin. He said he wishes
to join us again. We must rescue him without fail.
Current status - Chapter 11
Jagen:
We have said our goodbyes to Khadein, and are now about to challenge
Anri's Way. Do you remember what Lord Gotoh said? We have to save
Hardin, now a slave to the Darksphere, if we hope to bring salvation
to our homeland. If we reach the Ice Dragon Shrine beyond Anri's
Way, we'll obtain the Lightsphere, and then we'll be able to
neutralize Hardin's Darksphere... But to do that, we first have to
cross the Desert of Death.
Current status - Chapter 12
Jagen:
Anri's Way is long and hard, but we must reach the Ice Dragon Shrine
in order to obtain the Lightsphere. The Lightsphere is an absolute
necessity if we wish to negate Hardin's Darksphere... If we obtain
it, the day of Altea's liberation comes ever closer as well. Xane,
whom you've just met, seems to be oddly knowledgeable about Anri's
Way... A welcome companion on this harsh path.
Current status - Chapter 13
Jagen:
We've passed the Desert of Death and the Fire Dragons' Graveyard.
The last of Anri's Way leads to the Ice Dragon Shrine. If we obtain
the Lightsphere from Lord Gotoh, we'll be able to combat the
Darksphere that controls Hardin. And then, we might just be able to
reclaim Altea and save Hardin.
Current status - Chapter 13x
Jagen:
A report has come in of a battle happening behind our army. Be it
barbarians or those assassins... As Prince Marth said, if our allies
are fighting, we cannot leave them to their fates. The battlefield
is a blizzard. You won't be able to see far, so be careful.
Current status - Chapter 14
Jagen:
Seeking the Lightsphere, we passed the harsh Anri's Way... and now,
finally, we stand before the Ice Dragon Shrine. Lord Gotoh should be
waiting for Prince Marth here. But, the revelation about the Binding
Shield, which, with its five orbs, seals the earth dragons in its
bind, and that the seal would fragment should any of the orbs
break... I wonder if that's what Lord Wendell meant when he said the
world would fall into ruin if any of the orbs were lost?
Current status - Chapter 15
Jagen:
It was a arduous journey like no other, but we can wave farewell to
Anri's Way. At the Ice Dragon Shrine, Prince Marth obtained the
Lightsphere from Lord Gotoh. With it, we can now challenge Hardin
and his Darksphere. And now is the time for us to reclaim our
homeland.
Current status - Chapter 16
Jagen:
Altea is under our control once more. But a lot of things have
happened between then and now... We swore to take back our homeland
from Archanea, but couldn't return right away... Without a way to
defeat Emperor Hardin, we had no choice but to flee to Khadein...
Seeking the Lightsphere, we travelled through Anri's Way to obtain
it from Lord Gotoh in the Ice Dragon Shrine... And then, finally, we
returned to Altea. The time to fulfill our oath draws near. All
that's left is to recapture Altea Castle.
Current status - Chapter 16x
Jagen:
Another attack from those assassins... We've finally reclaimed our
homeland, yet we don't get even a moment of rest. But, being
attacked by assassins in Altea... It reminds me of your knighthood
ceremony. You and that assassin, Katarina, spent your days training
in the same 7th Platoon... However, this is no time for
sentimentality. Chris, you are to protect Prince Marth, just like
you did that day.
Current status - Chapter 17
Jagen:
We have reclaimed our homeland Altea, and we're now going to have a
decisive battle against Archanea, our enemy. We will head to the
palace, the hub of Archanea, to defeat Gharnef, who kidnapped
Princess Elice, and to liberate Emperor Hardin from the Darksphere's
control. According to Lord Gotoh, Gharnef is gathering high class
clerics, Princess Elice among them... His objectives are unknown,
but we must free them quickly. However, to reach the palace, we have
to pass through the Kingdom of Gra, now Archanea's pawn...
Current status - Chapter 18
Jagen:
The palace is almost within sight. By crossing the mountains, we
avoided pointless battles as much as we could. We must defeat
Gharnef and rescue Princess Elice and the other kidnapped clerics.
And we ought to do something about Hardin, who's now being
controlled by the Darksphere.
Current status - Chapter 19
Jagen:
We have come to the palace, the center of Archanea, with three
objectives in mind. To save Hardin from the Darksphere. Rescue the
kidnapped clerics. And defeat Gharnef, the Dark Pontifex. It seems
there was a rebellion in the palace not long ago. Citizens and
knights rioted against Hardin's actions... However, they were
defeated, and now await execution by Hardin. Hardin has really
changed... Prince Marth came here wanting to save Hardin... But we
might already be too late... No matter how many people would forgive
Hardin, or how many people would want him to be freed from the
Darksphere... The cold, hard truth is that Hardin has stolen the
lives of many innocents. It is unbearable to remember that he was
once our comrade...
Current status - Chapter 20
Jagen:
We have seized control of Archanea. Only the palace remains. Emperor
Hardin is likely waiting in his throne. Now is the time for us to
settle this. Right now, there are many who wish for Prince Marth to
defeat Hardin and liberate Archanea. But the prince seems bent on
rescuing Hardin from the clutches of the Darksphere. And we still
have to defeat Gharnef and rescue the princess and the other
clerics. Many people are waiting for us. Chris, I expect great
things from you!
Current status - Chapter 20x
Jagen:
One thing is apparently certain about this assassin organization...
They are Hardin's and Gharnef's underlings. These assassins have
targeted Prince Marth time and time again, so we cannot let them be.
I'm sure you know this without me telling, but... We'll settle our
score with these assassins here and now.
Current status - Chapter 21
Jagen:
Emperor Hardin of Archanea has fallen. The long war is now over.
However, the kidnapped clerics were illusions created by Gharnef...
We still don't know their true whereabouts. But Lord Gotoh has
indicated where we should head--The Dragon's Altar, where the earth
dragons slumber. As you've no doubt heard, we must banish the earth
dragons. If the countless earth dragons awaken, we will witness hell
on earth... Fortunately, the Darksphere completed the Binding
Shield, so Prince Marth will without doubt seal those earth dragons.
Gharnef should be in the Dragon's Altar, and with him the kidnapped
clerics. We must head to the Dragon's Altar.
Current status - Chapter 22
Jagen:
Who would have anticipated that Gharnef would kidnap the clerics to
try and revive Shadow Dragon Medeus... The clerics will be in danger
if we delay... We have to stop Medeus's revival. Sorry for counting
so much on you, Chris. I have high hopes for your performance.
Current status - Chapter 23
Jagen:
This Dragon's Altar is awash with a rather ominous presence. Here,
the Dark Pontifex Gharnef is planning to revive the Shadow Dragon
Medeus. We must rescue the kidnapped clerics... Let's hurry, Chris.
Current status - Chapter 24
Jagen:
Gharnef said something that makes me concerned... How the clerics
are now sacrifices to the Shadow Dragon... and that their souls have
been shattered. And just when we came all this way to save the
clerics and put a stop to Medeus's revival... But Prince Marth
hasn't given up yet. Chris, you've helped us so much, from the first
time you protected Prince Marth to now. This will be our last
battle. No matter what happens, please support the prince... I'm
counting on you.
