Ryan and Chris 1
If Chris is male
Chris:
Oh right, you're Sir Gordin's little brother, aren't you, Ryan?
Ryan:
Yes. I signed up to become a knight because I wanted to be like Brother.
Chris:
I remember you met every now and then during our apprentice days. You two seemed rather close.
Ryan:
Don't you have siblings, Chris?
Chris:
Well, no... That's why I'm a little envious. What's it like having someone close to you who's around the same age?
Ryan:
Hmm... Well, my brother's always been in my life so it's hard to describe it. Oh, but whenever I argued with my parents or friends... I liked it when Brother stuck up for me.
Chris:
You've a nice family. I see. So you quarrel too, Ryan.
Ryan:
...N-not anymore though.

Teehee. Sounds like a nice family. I see. So you quarrel too, Ryan.
Ryan:
...N-not anymore though.

If Chris is male
Ryan:
Apparently Mother and Father wanted to have a girl. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to have a big sister.
Chris:
I understand that feeling well. What if I had a sibling...? That question often crosses my mind. I wanted a brother. A younger one.
Ryan:
Really?
Chris:
Yeah, I think I'd dote on my little brother if I had one. It'd be great if I had a docile little brother like you. Oh, but since I'm a man, I can't be the big sister you wanted...
Ryan:
Well, um, it doesn't have to be a big sister... I'd be happy with a big brother, too. I just thought it'd be nice if the three of us were siblings, Chris...
Chris:
Haha, I see.

Chris:
I understand that feeling. What if I had a sibling...? That question often crosses my mind. I wanted a brother, maybe. A younger one.
Ryan:
Really?
Chris:
Yes. If I had a little brother, I think I'd pamper him a lot.
Ryan:
It'd be nice if you were my big sister, Chris. Then us three would be siblings....
Chris:
Heehee, you're right. Had I been born in your family, Ryan... I think we'd make good siblings.
Ryan:
Yes, I can picture it. If I had a big sister who's strong and pretty like you, Chris, I'd brag about you to everyone.

If Chris is male
Chris:
Ryan, what are you doing?
Ryan:
I'm writing a letter to my family back home. Though it'll be a long time before I can send it. I wonder if Mother and Father are alright...?
Chris:
You should take a break once this war is over, then. You ought to go home and spend some quality time with your family.
Ryan:
Yeah, I want to. Won't you go back home, Chris?
Chris:
Hmm. Ever since grandfather passed away, there's nobody home anyway... So, if I'm there all alone, I'm only going to feel lonely.
Ryan:
Er, then, why don't you come to my home?
Chris:
Your home?
Ryan:
Well, yes. If it's okay with you... I think of you as a second big brother, Chris.
Chris:
Thanks, Ryan. Your thought makes me happy.

Chris:
Thanks, Ryan. I love your idea. If you don't think I'm a bother, then I would like to visit...
Ryan:
Yes, I'm sure my family will be happy to meet you too.
