To initiate the request, speak to the Receptionist Mirage in Urahara Arena.

Receptionist Mirage: Now this is a rarity... Our first human patron! Ah, my heart swells with professional vindication! This Arena opened only just a while ago, but it's already being sought out by humans... Ah, such fame as I only dreamed of! This is a chance for the business! We need to upgrade our content to attract more humans... ... Oh, I know! Could you find the Mirages that seem to have free time, and scout them to join the Urahara Arena? Of course, rewards will be provided.

The player is given two options on how to respond:

  • Yes
  • No

If the player chooses "no":

Receptionist Mirage: Is that so...? I wonder if there exists someone I could work with, someone out there...

Conversation ends, request unaccepted.

If the player chooses "yes":

Receptionist Mirage: Thank you very much! Now then, please do your best. We're always open, so come back when it's convenient for you.

There are various Mirages you can speak to; they are scattered around a number of different areas. The option to "scout" is given.

In Harajuku, there is a Frightener Mirage you can speak to.

Mirage:' *Sigh* Well, this sucks. Am I just gonna rot away in this place...? Hrmmm... bleh. I can't even summon up the power to drain Perfoma from a human right in front of me... Welp, I'm dead. Powerless. Screwed. I want to get back to an Idolasphere...

>Itsuki scouts.

Mirage: Wha!? Human! Hey, you! Can you see me? ... Never mind that--what did you just say? There's a gate nearby that leads to the Urabara Arena!? Is that true...? All right, then I'd better get moving! Don't want to bite it before I even get there... See you!

>The Mirage leaves.

There is a Sister Mirage standing on the second floor of Illusory Daitama you can speak to.

Mirage: Hmm... I heard a rumor there was an interesting place around here, but this is just a disappointment. Everyone else here is weak. I can't have any fun here... Hmmm. I'm bored. I need some spice in my life. Somewhere more exciting!

>Itsuki scouts.

Mirage: Hmmm? You know a place like that? I guess I have enough time to check it out.

>The Mirage leaves.

There is a Frightener Mirage floating on the 6 th floor of Illusory 106 you can speak to.

Mirage: Aw... sooo booored! I wanna go play with somebody...

>Itsuki scouts.

Mirage: Arena? Is that a good place to go play? I dunno what it is, but sure, I'l go over there!

>The Mirage leaves.

There is a Deadly Spawn Mirage floating on the Southern Third Block of Illusory Shibuya you can speak to.

Mirage: What a terrible bore it all is... Surely there must be a place where I can surround myself with surging passion...

>Itsuki scouts.

Mirage: Oh, truly? An arena! That sounds... breathtaking. I'll find my way there immediately.

>The Mirage leaves.

There is a Frightener Mirage floating on the second floor in Illusory Daitou TV, in the area where you have to light up the lanterns.

Mirage: Hey, pal, I've got nothin' goin' on! Tell me something interesting. Oh? What, you scared of me? You afraaaid?

>Itsuki scouts.

Mirage: Wh- a hyena!? U-Um... oh, an arena, huh... Y-Yeah, sounds like fun. Sounds a lot better. H-Huh? N-N-No, I'm not scared! I-I'll be waitin' for you there!

>The Mirage leaves.

There is a Deadly Spawn Mirage floating in the room with the LCD panels in Illusory Daiba TV Station.

Mirage: ... ... ... *Gasp* Ah, cripes... I was gettin' so bored, my soul was slippin' away for a moment there. What's an old fella to do?

Itsuki scouts.

Mirage: Oho! An Arena!? Well, crisp my jiminies, that sounds like fun! I feel fifty years younger already! Hyeh heh!

>The Mirage leaves.
