Prologue

Marth: The Temple of Thabes... He's here...somewhere...

Gharnef Makes an Entrance

Gharnef: Heh heh heh... Come to play, little Marth?

Marth: Play?! Is this a game to you, Gharnef?

Gharnef: You're about to do me one last favor... Die, Prince. Heh heh heh!

Fighting the Shadows

Caeda: Marth! Several sorcerers have been sighted throughout the temple! They... they all seem to be Gharnef!

Gharnef: The only way you'll claim Falchion is by defeating the real me. Heh heh heh! But you won't defeat my dark magic, Imhullu. And if you mean to harm me, first you'll have to find me, boy.

Marth: I won't let you get away with this!

Leo: Only Starlight can break through Imhullu's shadowy protection...

Robin (M): But to cast it, you need two orbs: the Lightsphere and the Starsphere.

Leo: Yes. Bring me the Lightsphere and the Starsphere, and I'll create Starlight.

Gharnef: Keep trying, fool! Fight, boy, fight! Wear yourself thin fighting puppets and shadows!

A Long-Forgotten Apparatus

Caeda: But remember, Thabes is an old city... Within its walls remain many a powerful apparatus of long-forgotten magic. Gharnef is likely harnessing their power, and that's why he wields such influence over the continent.

Marth: And he has Imhullu as well... This will be a struggle. Gharnef's reign must end. The world was so much more beautiful before he painted it red...

Pinpointing the Apparatus

Caeda: Sire, we've pinpointed the apparatus that gives Gharnef his power---the Tower of Thabes atop this very temple!

Marth: Then let's hurry and seize the entrance to the tower!

An Exercise in Obstruction

Marth: Caeda! Quickly! Find each apparatus and shut it down!

Caeda: At once, Marth!

Gharnef's Astonishment

Gharnef: Blast! How did they find the apparatus? Still, such cheap tricks are nothing to me!

Tiki's Arrival

Gharnef: Tiki! Can you hear my voice?

Tiki: ...Mm-hmm.

Robin (M): Tiki?! How...?

Gharnef: Thieves have come for this holy stone! Punish them! Let your fire consume them!

Tiki: Thieves...have come... Punish them...

Gharnef: I alone am protecting you. Remember...

Tiki: You alone...are protecting me... Punish...the thieves...

Robin (M): Tiki! Can't you hear me?! We have to save her!

Not the Dragon You Know

(Start)

Robin (M): Tiki! Thank the gods! At last, we have found you!

Tiki: No... Stop... Come no closer...

(End)

Robin (M): Gharnef has put you in some sort of trance, poor thing. Peace, child, peace... Awaken.

Tiki: Robin? Is that you? I feel as though I just woke from an awful nightmare...

Robin (M): I am truly sorry, Tiki. Truly, I am. I will not let us be separated again. From now on, I will be there to protect you.

Tiki: Promise? You have to promise, Robin. Stay by my side and...protect me. And I'll give these two gemstones to you. Maybe we can beat Gharnef after all...

Both Orbs in Hand

Marth: Thank you. We need to take these to Prince Leo to undo Imhullu's magic...

Starlight Complete

Marth: Prince Leo, I've brought the Lightsphere and Starsphere. Is that all you need?

Leo: Yes, I can make Starlight with these. One moment... There, it is finished. Take it with you. It is the only magic capable of breaking through Imhullu. Use it to stop that fiend Gharnef once and for all.

Gharnef's Revenge

Gharnef: Cower before the might of the dark magic Imhullu!

Epilogue

Gharnef: Agh! What... Where did you get... Starlight? I shall be waiting in the pits of the inferno...for you to join me... Heh heh, ha ha ha! I will give Falchion...to you. You won't...be able to use it anyway.

Xenologues

A Princely Feud

(Part 1)

Takumi: What kind of mess have I gotten myself tangled up in...?

Leo: Prince Takumi, you're here too? I never knew you to be such a coward...

Takumi: Ugh... Every time we meet, I feel sick to my stomach. It strains my ability to show respect whenever I face your raw arrogance.

Leo: And here I thought you were the one with a problem. You should do something about that attitude of yours before scolding others.

Frederick: This is distressing--does it fall to me to hold things together?

(Part 2)

Takumi: I can't stand guys like you! Why don't we just put an end to this here and now?

Leo: At last, something we can agree on. I'll teach you the dignity of a prince.

Frederick: Perhaps now is not the best time for this. Focus your energy on our foes!

(End)

Takumi: That went well... And I have to admit, it was all thanks to you, Prince Leo.

Leo: Funny, I was just about to say the same thing about you, Prince Takumi.

Frederick: Fine work, the both of you. Now I can return to Chrom's side without worry.

Face the Magic

(Part 1)

Corrin (F): I'm getting a very sinister feeling... We have to stop Gharnef soon.

Marth: Standard attacks have no effect on him. Imhullu blocks any kind of blow. By the way, Princess Corrin... Pardon my saying it, but you have almost no defense against magical assault.

Corrin (F): Y-you're right...

Marth: You will face great danger against Gharnef. Please take the utmost care.

(Part 2)

Chrom: Let me have a go, then!

Marth: Prince Chrom, your resistance to magic is admirable... But Gharnef will be a dangerous foe for you as well. Be cautious.

(Part 3)

Gharnef: Heh heh ha ha! See the dark might of Imhullu!

(End)

Marth: You did as well as I expected, Prince Chrom. Gharnef is beaten, thanks to you.

Chrom: You're not so bad yourself, Marth. I bet there's no one we can't beat together.

Lissa vs. Xander

(Part 1)

Lissa: That's it, Xander! I refuse to let you call me "delicate" any longer.

Xander: Are you taking up arms? Good. I'll show you a fight worthy of my name!

(Part 2)

Lissa: I'll show you just how strong I am! Come on, take your best shot!

(Part 3)

Lissa: Hey! Why aren't you attacking me? Too scared?

Xander: Don't be naive. I will settle this now!

(End)

Xander: Impressive, Lissa. You have grown into a fine warrior.

Good News

(Part 1)

Robin (M): Camilla, how goes it?

Camilla: Oh, I've been doing rather well, but all this fighting has left me just drenched with sweat. I suppose the exercise will make me even stronger, though, so it's not all bad.

Robin (M): Heh. That's the spirit! Your fighting skill already has quite a reputation among the troops... I can only imagine how effective you'll be if you get even stronger!

(Part 2)

Camilla: Ah, I almost forgot, Robin. I have good news, and then I have better news.

Robin (M): What's the good news?

Camilla: I hear today's meal is one of your favorites, bear stew.

Robin (M): That is good news! It's been quite a while since I've had any. And the better news?

Camilla: In this next battle, you'll get your hands on some sort of incredible treasure.

(End)

Robin (M): Fantastic! Such a treasure can only help our cause.

Camilla: Yes... Corrin will be delighted as well...
