Strategy

You can earn a lot of gold on this mission without too much difficulty, so choose whatever units you feel most comfortable with. Just bear in mind the Triangle Amplification restriction; most of the enemies use axes, so avoid using lance units.

Your first sub-mission is to protect a Villager from being attacked by a Soldier who appears on the eastern end of the map. Protecting her will earn you 2,000 gold. Up next, Iago will appear with a 3,000 gold bounty on his head. Finally, a Thief will appear to steal gold. Besides these sub-missions, Gold Transporter Sages will appear carrying 1,500 gold when you reach certain gold thresholds.
