Strategy

The enemy army has each of the three weapon types well-represented, so you should respond in kind with your own sword, lance, and axe user. The fourth slot can be filled with a bow user if you want to destroy Hinoka very quickly, a unit with access to healing magic to defend the allied base, or both (Sakura). It's up to you.

Your sword and lance user should travel along the southwestern part of the map to take out the axe and sword users, while your own axe user heads north to take on the lance users. The enemy won't just sit around waiting for you, however, and will send small squadrons to attack your base. The first wave consists of a Spear Fighter and an Oni Savage, but conveniently they both advance from the same direction your offense should be headed in, so you can simply push through them. The unique design of the map makes it very easy to simply steamroll the enemy's offense without letting up on your own.

Three Oni Savages will appear in the enemy forts to ambush you. Your sword user should head off one of them after taking the South Castle, while your axe user will have to take on two of them at the E Outrealm Fort. More enemy forces will begin advancing, but if you've taken the two previously-mentioned bases then you've set up a good perimeter that will halt the enemy while you keep pressing through them. Oboro will eventually attack the base, but to your axe user she should just be a slightly-bulkier opponent to cut through.

Once your sword user takes the SW Ruins and target W Outrealm Fort, they should switch control to the lance user and eliminate the Samurai infesting the central arena to pre-emptively stop their attack. A Fortifier Captain Samurai will appear before long; if they try to fortify a target base you should definitely eliminate them before they can do their job, but otherwise you can probably ignore them.

Once the target forts are seized and the enemy base opens, a Spear Master will appear close to home and attack. If you left a unit to defend the base, this is their time to shine; otherwise you'll want to send your axe user home to eliminate him. Both the allied commander and the allied base's fort captain have an advantage over him, but he'll still capture the base if given enough time. Alternatively, if you have a bow-user, just shoot Hinoka down to end the mission before the Spear Master can do anything.
