Strategy

It's you vs. a whole horde of Fighters on this map, so deploy plenty of sword-users and reap the material-drop rewards whenever you please.

You only have one stranded ally to protect, but he'll be assailed by two target enemy captains, both coming from the east. You should be able to intercept them before they even reach the Oni Savage, but either way you'll want to rendezvous with him to clear out any unlabeled captains who happen to be beating on him. As you proceed along the east, a Villager will also appear to request your help. Escort her back to the base and she'll grant your commander a morale boost, but don't fret too much over her survival.

Once you've rescued your Oni Savage, the enemy base will open. An escort troop will also appear right near the Oni Savage and advance on the enemy base to ally with the commander. If he's allowed to do so he'll receive a morale boost, so kill him quickly and then deal with the commander.
