Siegbert: Mother... So this is where you were.

Effie: Oh, hi, Siegbert.

Siegbert: You seem tired. Is everything OK?

Effie: Pfft, of course. Don't worry about me! My plate's just been pretty full, and it leaves me a little sore sometimes.

Siegbert: I see... Mother, I think I know the perfect way to help us both!

Effie: You do? Does it involve any heavy lifting?

Siegbert: No, no effort on your part is required. I'd like to give you a shoulder massage.

Effie: I'm not hearing the "help us both" in this, my boy.

Siegbert: Like you, I've been feeling some aches and pains. One of the healers here showed me some pressure points to relieve the pain, but I can't really find the spots when I try to massage myself. If I could practice on your shoulders, you could tell me when I find the spots.

Effie: Well, who am I to say no to that?

Siegbert: Excellent! Thank you, Mother. Here, try and relax...

Effie: Aaahhh... That's the stuff. I can really feel those trapezius muscles unclench! Thanks, my boy. But you said you were tired too?

Siegbert: No need for concern, Mother. I'm the one who should be thanking you. Now that I know where to apply pressure, my pain will be a thing of the past.

Effie: Heehee... Sounds good. And thanks for helping me take a load off, Siegbert.

B Support

Siegbert: Ugh...

Effie: Your neck's looking stiff there, Siegbert.

Siegbert: It's nothing, Mother. Don't worry about it.

Effie: Shhh. Don't make any sudden moves. One slip of a finger, and I might snap your spine.

Siegbert: I'm fine, really! I don't want to be seen like this.

Effie: Heehee! Come on—a little embarrassment now and then builds character.

Siegbert: *sigh* Fine...

Effie: Now that we've got that tension out of your back... anything you want to get off your chest?

Siegbert: Nothing you need to worry about— I'm sure I can handle things on my own.

Effie: You sure about that?

Siegbert: Well... Lately I find myself lost in thought a lot. I can't help thinking that I'm not strong enough yet. Or wondering if I have what it takes to protect the people.

Effie: Oh, well, as for that, there's lots of people stronger than you. Me, for one. Lots of people smarter and more experienced than you, too.

Siegbert: Mother, you aren't really helping...

Effie: No, no, it's good that you know your weaknesses. It's OK to be a little weak now. You're young, after all. Spending time in the fire is what makes a man strong. I know it.

Siegbert: Time in the fire will make me strong... Thank you, Mother. I feel a bit better already.

Effie: Glad to hear it! And if your muscles ever get sore again... maybe ask someone with a gentler touch, huh?

A Support

Siegbert: Mother, have you got some free time?

Effie: Hi there, Siegbert. Something on your mind?

Siegbert: Well, I'd like to give you another shoulder massage.

Effie: What, another one? Did you forget the trick to it so soon?

Siegbert: N-no, of course not! I just wanted to repay you for the advice you offered me the other day.

Effie: Oh! Sounds like you got something out of it.

Siegbert: Very much so. I've been able to apply that open-mindedness to several situations. I've learned from villagers what it is to live diligently. And from my comrades, I've learned what it's like to face strong enemies... I've witnessed all different kinds of strength from the people I've encountered. And I've become acutely aware of my own shortcomings. But now, instead of grinding to a stop when I find a fault in myself... I want to push forward and overcome the obstacle.

Effie: ...My boy's growing up, I see.

Siegbert: I'm sure I'll still find things to be worried about... But that's also a necessary waypoint on the path to growing stronger... For now, I think I'll puff out my chest and brood a little, like Father.

Effie: Erm, don't overdo it. You know that when it comes to growing stronger, you can always come to me.
