When Side Story is available, Mamori will send a Topic. The conversation is as follows:

Mamori: Um, Itsuki. I have something that I'd like your advice on. I'll be waiting in Daitama.

Mamori: Tmsfe-sticker 10.png

If kept waiting, Mamori will send another Topic:

Mamori: Um, I'll be waiting in Daitama...

Daitama Observatory

Mamori: Oh, Itsuki. You came. Honestly, I'm worried about the "Microwavin'" show. May I have your advice?

The player is given the choice whether to accept the Side Story or not.

If the player chooses "no":

Itsuki: I'm a little busy...

Mamori: Oh, I see... That's unfortunate...

Conversation ends, Side Story unaccepted.

If the player chooses "yes":

Itsuki: Of course.

Mamori: Well, the producer of Mamorin wants to change the direction of the program.

Itsuki: Does he now?

Mamori: Yes. In fact he complimented me during the last shoot. He said that I've gotten much better.

Itsuki: You did do your best, after all.

Mamori: Ehehe... A-Anyway, he also said that he was sure I could handle it now, and that we should do a short skit...

Itsuki: A skit?

Mamori: Yes. Mamorin will have an older sister, and she's supposedly going to cook food for her.

Itsuki: And what's troubling you about that?

Mamori: Well... they're starting this with the next shoot. They're asking me to act as a younger sister... but I'm an only child and am having trouble acting it out...

Itsuki: You just have to practice acting as a younger sister then. We have lots of older girls at the agency, right? Why not ask one of them to help you train?

Mamori: I see! ... But who would be best for this?

The player is given three options on how to respond:

  • What about Tsubasa?
  • What about Ellie?
  • I's say... Ms. Maiko.

If the player chooses option 1:

Itsuki: What about Tsubasa? She is older than you. Technically.

Mamori: Itsuki... that sounds reckless.

Itsuki: Yeah. Now that I've said it out loud, Tsubasa doesn't quite fit that role. No matter how I look at it, you're more dependable than her, and Tsubasa doesn't seem like an older sister...

Mamori: I won't comment on that.

If the player chooses option 3:

Itsuki: I'd say... Ms. Maiko.

Mamori: That really is surprising!

Itsuki: What do you think? I'm intentionally recommending someone you normally don't expect.

Mamori: Oh, but Ms. Maiko is more like... hmm... like a mom? That's what it feels like to me.

Itsuki: True... Hmm... Never mind then.

If the player chooses option 2:

Itsuki: What about Ellie? She may be absentminded at times, but she's surprisingly trustworthy. And she looks after others well to boot. Wouldn't you say she's the most suited in our group?

Mamori: I think you're right. I knew you were a good person to ask! You have a good eye for these things.

Itsuki: You think so?

Mamori: ... Mm-hm! I'm starting to feel like this is going to work! Well then, I should go straight to the lesson studio to train! I'll try asking Ellie to help me!

Once Mamori leaves, she'll send Itsuki a Topic. The conversation is as follows:

Mamori: Ellie said that she'll help! If it's all right with you, I'd like it if you came to watch over us. We'll be at the lesson studio!

Uzume Lesson Studio

Speak to Mamori, who is just outside the entrance to the studio.

Mamori: Hi, Itsuki! You made it! Ellie's just arrived too!

Inside the studio:

Eleonora: ... And what's why I was asked to do this?

Mamori: Yes.

Eleonora: Oh well, I'll help you out. This is for our dear Mamori, after all.

Itsuki: You're already acting like the older sister...

Eleonora: Don't poke fun at me! It can't be helped you know!? I'm an older sister in real life!

Mamori: Really?

Eleonora: I've got three younger brothers. Bratty ones at that.

Itsuki: I see now... It all comes together.

Eleonora: All right then, shall we begin? It may be best to do some improv in this case.

Itsuki: What's improv?

Eleonora: An improvised skit. We choose a setting, build a scene, and act out our characters on the fly.

Mamori: So then I'll be acting as the younger sister... while you're the older one.

Eleonora: As for the setting... Let's see... How about sisters going shopping together?

Mamori: That sounds fun! ... I'm a bit nervous, but I'll do my best!

Eleonora: You'll be fine, Mamori. This is just an exercise, so stay relaxed and have fun with it.

Mamori: Okay, Ellie.

Eleonora: What was that?

Mamori: Oh! Okay, Sis!

Eleonora: Shall we get started then?

Mamori begins the training. The two girls are then seen in their training clothes.

Eleonora: Mamori!

Mamori: W-What is it, Sis?

Eleonora: I'm about to go grocery shopping. What do you want to do, Mamori?

Mamori turns to Itsuki for advice. The player is given two options on how to respond:

  • Tell her you'll see her later.
  • Have her take you.

If the player chooses option 1:

Itsuki: Tell her you'll see her later.

Mamori: See you later, Sis!

Eleonora: I'm off then! ... Wait, no! This scene would go nowhere if you said that!

Itsuki: She went with the joke...

Mamori: She sure did...

If the player chooses option 2:

Itsuki: Have her take you.

Mamori: Sis! I wanna go shopping with you!

Eleonora: Sure. Help me carry the groceries, okay?

Mamori: Of course!

Itsuki: It's going good so far.

Regardless of what option the player chose:

Eleonora: Let's see... What else do we need?

Mamori turns to Itsuki for advice. The player is given two options on how to respond:

  • Beg her for snacks.
  • Split up to be more efficient.

If the player chooses option 2:

Itsuki: Try suggesting you split up to be more efficient.

Mamori: We're both here, so it wouldn't be efficient if we shopped together. Let's go buy things separately!

Eleonora: That's true, but not really! We're here together on purpose, so it won't work if we go off doing our own thing!

Mamori: Oh, right...

Eleonora: Okay, let's redo the scene. We'll start from the top once more...

If the player chooses option 1:

Itsuki: Beg her for snacks.

Mamori: Hey, Sis... I want some snacks.

Eleonora: Snacks? But we just picked some up.

Mamori: I want chocolate! You always get rice crackers!

Eleonora: All right, all right... You can buy something up to 100 yen, okay?

Mamori: Yaaay!

Itsuki: I think they're starting to get pretty good at being sisters...

Some time later...

Mamori: We sure bought a lot!

Eleonora: Thanks for carrying the groceries, Mamori. You were a big help. Why don't we treat ourselves to some ice cream?

The player is given two options on how to respond:

  • Be extremely happy.
  • Beef bowls beat ice cream!

If the player chooses option 1:

Itsuki: Be extremely happy.

Mamori: Yaaay! I love ice cream! I love you too, Sis!

Eleonora: Why don't we get different flavors then?

Mamori: Whaaat? I wanna get the same one as you!

Eleonora: But if they're different, we can taste each other's, right?

Mamori: Oh yeah! Um, Sis! I'll make dinner to thank you for the ice cream.

Eleonora: Heheh, what're you going to make?

Mamori: Pom Curry, of course! It's easy to make with a microwave!

Itsuki: Mm-hm.

If the player chooses option 2:

Itsuki: Beef bowls beat ice cream!

Mamori: Sis! I wanna eat a beef bowl more than ice cream!

Eleonora: Ooh, that sounds good too... I mean, no! We got groceries for dinner! Why would we eat something that heavy now!?

Itsuki: Mm-hm.

Mamori completed the training.

Eleonora: ... So, something like that?

Itsuki: What do you think, Mamori?

Mamori: It's a curious feeling, being able to fawn on something that isn't your father or mother... They're like a friend, but not... So this is what it feels like to be a younger sister!

Mamori unlocks a new Perfoma: Relying on You.

Eleonora: You did it, Mamori!

Mamori: Thank you, Itsuki! You too, Sis!

Eleonora: Ahaha, you can stop calling me that.

Gameplay resumes. Tiki sends a Topic. The conversation is as follows:

Tiki: I could sense Mamori's new Perfoma from here too!

Tiki: I'm ready to perform a Unity, so come to the Bloom Palace anytime!

Tiki: Tmsfe-sticker 19.png

Bloom Palace

Mamori unlocked the Radiant Unity Skill: Door of Family.

Draug: Truth be told, I am rather relieved with that has transpired during this incident.

Mamori: Huh? What do you mean?

Draug: Well, I have always felt that you are a little too dependable for your age, Mamori.

Mamori: You think so...?

Draug: Through this training, however, I feel that I have seen you allow yourself to act your true age--the true you, Mamori. In that respect... I believe this training was extremely meaningful. You appeared somehow more relaxed than before, as well. I am certain that you shall be able to perform your character even better now.

Mamori: Heheh... Thank you, Mr. Draug!

A cinematic of Microwavin' wit Mamorin plays, featuring Mamori and Eleonora. Afterwards, the two girls, in their costumes, walk into the changing room.

Mamori: Thank you for everything, Ellie.

Eleonora: Excellent work, Mamori.

Itsuki walks in.

Eleonora: Ack, Itsuki! You were here too!?

Itsuki: Good job out there, you two.

Eleonora: Still, I was surprised when Maiko suddenly told me to appear in the "Microwavin'" show.

Mamori: I believe "Special technique: Reverse Tone Shift!" was what Ms. Maiko said.

Eleonora: Was it okay though? I'm worried casting Mamorin's sister as a biracial might raise some questions about the show...

Mamori: I guess that's true. I don't think it'll be a problem, though.

Itsuki: It just shows now natural you two were.

Mamori: Mm-hm! Ellie is the best older sister! I'm amazed at what a real actress can do.

Eleonora: I-Is that so? Well, I am aiming for Hollywood, after all. This was nothing.

Mamori: By the way, Ellie... how was I? Was I able to act properly like a younger sister?

Eleonora: You were perfect! Right, Itsuki?

The player is given two options on how to respond:

  • You looked like real sisters.
  • Watching you made me smile.

If the player chooses option 1:

Itsuki: Yeah. You two looked like real sisters.

If the player chooses option 2:

Itsuki: Watching you two made me smile. You really were great sisters.

Regardless of what option the player chose:

Mamori: Really? Thank goodness.

Eleonora: This let me feel what it's like having a little sister, so it was good experience for me too. Thanks, Mamori.

Mamori: Same here, Ellie! And you too, Itsuki!

Itsuki: Oh no... I didn't do anything. This was all due to your hard work, Mamori.

Mamori: No. This episode of "Mamorin" went well because you gave great advice during my training. That's why I'd like to thank you, Itsuki! Ehehe... You seem like a big brother, Itsuki. Um, may I try calling you "big brother" for the moment?

The player is given two options on how to respond:

  • Sure.
  • That's a bit embarrassing.

If the player chooses option 1:

Itsuki: Sure.

Mamori: Ehehe... Thanks for helping me all this time, big brother.

If the player chooses option 2:

Itsuki: That's a bit embarrassing.

Mamori: Huh? Why is that? Isn't it fine!? Tiki calls you that too, after all. Right, big brother?

Itsuki: Hrrgh...

Eleonora: Itsuki's being overpowered... Mamori... you're a terrifying child!

Mamori: Thanks for helping me all this time, big brother!

Job complete!
